When?
Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of November.

Where?
The York School of Defence’s regular training venue at the Melbourne Centre on Escrick Street, YO10 4AW.

How?
Book your damn tickets here: https://broadswordfest.co.uk/details-and-booking/

Will there be broadswords?
Yes. Basket hilted swords of all kinds are fine, broadsword fest just sounded better.

Will there be backswords?
Yes. They’re peachy and we love them, as long as they have basket hilts and are essentially single edged broadswords.

How about spadroons?
Yep. They’re the misunderstood and wonderful nibling of the basket-hilted broadsword/backsword.

What about sabres?
The sabre is just a slightly worse broadsword. It can come too.

What if I’m a pirate?
Cutlasses are broad. They can come join in.

But what about…
Look, whilst the event is focused on basket hilted broadswords of the British Isles and their related swords we’re happy to let other things slip in for the variety. Don’t panic, it’ll be featured at some point.

What kind of event is it?
One where you’ll learn things, cut things, and get to bop people on the noggin with a singlestick for prizes.

How much is it?
Ninety-five shiny pounds to be paid digitally.
