BroadswordFest is a HEMA event dedicated to the most wonderful of weapons; the basket hilted broadsword/backsword. It is jointly organised by Victoria Clow of Saorsa Swords and Chris Halpin of the York School of Defence, and alternates annually between York and Glasgow.
Our inaugural event will take place on Saturday the 30th of November in York.
Open to everyone, it will be a fun event to celebrate the weapon to beat all others!
(Spadroons can come as well!)
